We have had a wonderful outpouring of requests to include some of the content we are sharing not directly featured in a reward level. In response we have created "Optional Buy" content for all our backers!
If you would like an optional buy item, please increase your pledge by the $ value of items you are interested in.
For example if you are a US based pledger, and you selected the PREMIUM EDITION & THE FELL FIRE FORGE reward ($67 + $9 shipping = $76) and wished to add ALL STAMPS ($8) and ALL 9* HEROES ($8) optional buy items you would increase your pledge by ($76 + $8 + $8 = $92). When we fulfill your $92 pledge you will receive these extra items!
The real benefit is that as any one of us increases their pledge during the KS with the optional items they select, they are increasing the overall campaign value, thus helping everyone unlock even more additional content!

Together we just unlocked our #8 Kickstarter Exclusive neutral command "Berserk" and our collaboration with Hikari Games... and another collaboration is close to being unlocked as well!
Lysander Games Collaboration
Jerrod is an amazing individual who had an amazing Kickstarter success with "The Bermuda Crisis" and he has been a pleasure to work cross-company with on learning different tips and tricks. With our history I knew it would such an great collaboration and we've included two neutral command cards with this collab.
Midnight Chaos is a VERY flexible neural command. It can be attached on your own units to extend their range, or it can be used offensively on your opponents ranged units. Why give your opponents more range on their weapons you ask? Every ranged unit in Castle Assault can shoot over friendly and opposing units to hit other targets beyond (think of arcing arrows or hurled rocks flying over your allies). For example if there were 3 stampeding orcs coming your way, your elvish archer could choose to snipe any of the 3 if they were in range. However! with this card attached to your archer you can only snipe the closest unit. Midnight Chaos makes for very dynamic flexibility, as you increase your own units range, or reduce your opponents effectiveness.
Dark Dreams is another very adaptable command card. While its use as an offensive weapon is great for sapping the health of whatever it is attached too, it can also be used on your own units! Perhaps your Undead Revenant is 2 spaces away from your opponents castle and you NEED that Revenet to exact his sweet vengeance upon those castle walls, well, give him a little luck... to ensure your opponents castle is smashed into dust!
32k Stretch Goal - Grim Harlequinn Fae
We are incredibly close to unlocking our Fourth Fell Fire Forge warband, the Grim Harlequinn Fae.
Described as viciously passionate with a heavy dose of daemon and a low dose of chivalry, the experience commanding the Grim Harlequinn Fae will be completely unique. The entire warband is incredibly versatile and compliments one another with the Harlequinn Fae's impressive cohort of rapid strike rogue units and heavy duty lumbering mythical constructs. The Fae royalty is like observing a basket of vipers, always in motion, shifting, exploiting any possible weakness, but do not be confused, this nomadic group falls into perfect harmony and extreme tenacity when threatened... which is often as they storm into others lands without concern for unseen lines, and hidden agendas.
Mechanically the Harlequinn Fae reflect their castle-less nomadic lifestyle with their abilities to appear mid-battlefield and to not originate from your the castle area as with other warbands. They can provide recon, or quickly assassinate an opposing unit, and then in a flash... disappear vacating the battlefield. They are also supported by massive mythical beasts and constructs of lore, which hurl massive boulders of granite at both opposing units and castles, or simultaneously attack all units within their blast range! None can withstand their synergy of erasing threats on the battlefield as their monsters storm down the battlefield eradicating all that would prevent them.
Striking from a distance, crushing all resistance, looting the spoils and departing leaving only smoldering remains is nothing short of a Grim Harlequinn Fae victory! I truly do look forward to unlocking all of these exciting stretch goals including the Fourth Fell Fire Forge warband! (FFFFW?)

Unlocked: Additional Solo Player Campaign
These are quite honestly one of my favorite parts of Castle Assault. As a reminder Castle Assault is a 1 - 2 player game that plays in 30 mins (and will be extended to 1 - 4 player as a future stretch goal). That quick 30 min solo player action is perfect for simply firing-up a game on any given weekday evening, rocking out a quick scenario and continuing to forge your legend... then packing it up and eating breakfast on the same table in the morning. That being said I don't want to discount those who believe in multiple hour long 'obsession play' (which is my personal style), as Castle Assault certainly caters to that as well. Since our campaign is non-linear every unlocked campaign only brings more and more depth as we task our writers to a wonderfully deep saga. Great work everyone!
Backer Representative Imagery
At our KINGMAKER pledge level we are happy to share a few examples of our backer representative imagery. The first example is Sabo Brewslayer, an Adamantine Anvil Dwarf who is based off a member of the Castle Assault team that passed away in January during the making of the Fell Fire Forge. Sabo packed and shipped every single box during the first campaign and was a savage Fell Fire Forge playtester. No matter the situation Sabo always had a smile and brought his positive electricity to any table he sat down at. He was strong in life and would be thrilled knowing he's incorportated in every copy across the globe crushing dragon hides. His ideal character was a raging barbarian dwarf hero charging headlong into battle and we are proud to immortalize Sabo in that role in the Fell Fire Forge.
A second example is our great friend J. Balch of Alaska who has been a long time Castle Assaulter and a genuine great guy. He wished to join the Black Vigil, and our illustrator Ben Donahue much obliged him.
Kickstarter Exclusive Card Stretch Goal
We are very near to unlocking our next stretch goal Berserk. This neutral command is played offensively on an opposing unit to ensure they charge forward on their next turn. This is excellent for ensuring those opposing pesky elvish snipers charge right into your ambush or you force that mini-boss to come to battle on your terms. Fantastically helpful to clearing out opposing defensive units, Berserk will ensure your enshrinement in the marble plaques of glory.
